Summary
Alliance is a national consulting firm built for the Office of the CFO, helping organizations solve complex finance, technology, and transformation challenges. Through six core areas of expertise, including Accounting Advisory, Finance Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Systems & Transformation, AI & Analytics, and Human Capital Solutions, The Alliance Group provides the strategic guidance and execution support organizations need to drive growth, improve performance, and navigate change with confidence.
With their Bullhorn contract ending, they wanted a more robust, dynamic system that could give their teams real visibility into performance. Their applicant tracking system (ATS) sat outside the Salesforce ecosystem, so they chose not to renew. An earlier attempt to migrate their data had failed, and with the subscription window closing fast, the timing was tight.
Alliance needed a partner who could succeed where the last attempt hadn't and deliver a live system before the deadline. Working with Asymbl, they did. Asymbl migrated their full history from Bullhorn, along with data from SpringAhead, onto a Asymbl’s ATS and Search Match, today Recruiter Suite, with every record intact and zero downtime to their business.
The Results
Chapter 1 : The Challenge
Starting From Skepticism
Alliance wanted to run more of their business on Salesforce. Recruiting, sales pipeline, and executive reporting all stood to gain from sitting in one connected environment. Bullhorn, their ATS, sat outside that ecosystem. As the renewal date approached, they made the call to move onto Salesforce instead.
That set a firm deadline. With no extension available, everything had to be migrated and live on Salesforce before the subscription expired January 31st. Everything had to come together inside a 12-week window.
The deadline was only part of the pressure. An earlier attempt to move to Salesforce, run by another party, had already failed, and that experience left a mark. When discovery began with the Asymbl team, the skepticism in the room was real and warranted. The people who had watched the first attempt fall apart weren't going to extend trust again without a reason. So the work carried two demands at once: migrate years of data cleanly on a deadline that couldn't move, and rebuild confidence that a project like this could succeed at all.
Chapter 2 : How Asymbl Helps
On Time Without Shortcuts
Asymbl structured the engagement in deliberate phases: discovery, build, test, and training, each with defined milestones and little room to compress. That discipline existed for one reason: to protect a hard deadline without cutting corners on what got delivered.
The foundation of the work was data integrity. Moving off Bullhorn meant transferring every in-scope lead, account, contact, opportunity, and placement without loss, along with the relevant data from SpringAhead, which they continue to use today. Asymbl assigned a unique tracking ID to every record so each one could be followed cleanly from the old system into Salesforce, with nothing lost or duplicated. Historical records moved accurately, and the new system launched with data The Alliance Group could trust.
With the migration in place, Asymbl stood up the operational stack on Salesforce. Asymbl’s ATS, Recruiter Suite, replaced Bullhorn for recruiting, bringing the full hiring workflow onto Salesforce. Asymbl Search & Match added resume and job parsing, precision search, and matching across the talent base. Sales Cloud brought lead-to-opportunity conversion and pipeline management into the same environment; Marketing Cloud Engagement centralized outbound communication; and Salesforce's built-in dashboards and reports gave leadership visibility into sales cycles, win rates, market analytics, and revenue attribution by opportunity and service line. Each piece connected to the next, giving recruiting, sales, and reporting a single home on Salesforce. By go-live, Alliance had a system their teams could operate from day one.

“Asymbl is a reliable partner and expert in the Salesforce and recruiting space. Our 12-week integration projects to unify our Salesforce ecosystem was successful and has now enabled our business to operate with more velocity and accuracy.”

The Asymbl Difference
Restoring Confidence Was the Real Deliverable
Every technology project has a stated goal and an unstated one. For Alliance, the stated goal was a successful platform migration. The unstated one was proving that digital transformation could work for them.
The earlier failure carried into this project, which set the tone for how the team approached every step. Early sessions required Asymbl to earn credibility while the build was still underway. They earned it through the work itself: hitting each milestone, clearing each phase, keeping the team in the loop at every step.
Discovery completed on schedule. The build moved cleanly through integration and customization. Testing was thorough enough that go-live arrived without surprises. Training brought teams along ahead of February 1st. When Alliance went live, their people were confident in the system in front of them.
That foundation matters for what comes next. Alliance now has a unified view of their business: recruiting performance, sales pipeline, consulting activity, and revenue attribution, all in one.
